Balls Head Reserve, Waverton

I was looking forward to checking out and capturing Sydney Harbour from a slightly different location but in the same suburb. I was keen to see how Port Jackson would look from Balls Head Reserve in Waverton.

Why I love this view of Sydney Harbour?

It's lovely to be able to see a view of Sydney Harbour while being surrounded by native flora and fauna in Balls Head Reserve, Waverton. I also enjoy being surrounded by like-minded people who enjoy the harbour views without the crazy crowds. I feel like a true local here, especially when I don't have to go very far for a nice Sydney bushwalk.

Why I love this image of Ball Head Reserve, Waverton?

I was fortunate to be there at the right place and time where the yachts happened to be sailing along. I think the white yachts add a nice contrast to the blue hues in this image. The white and blue tones show what Sydney is famous for: clear blue skies.
