Berrys Bay Lookout, Waverton
If you happen to be on the north side of Sydney and keen to see the magnificent Sydney Harbour views without heading into the Sydney CBD (Central Business District), then you'll love the views from Berrys Bay lookout (also known as Larkin St or Balls Head lookout) in Waverton. It's only 3 km from the city centre. Personally, I love checking out the harbour views without experiencing the hustle and bustle.

Postcard perfect views of Sydney Harbour
As you can see in the above image of Berrys Bay lookout in Waverton, it offers picture perfect views into Sydney Harbour Bridge and the city skyline. You don't have to be right in the Sydney CBD to enjoy the harbour views. Have the harbour views of Sydney to yourself without fighting with crowds.
Why I love Berrys Bay lookout?
I love it how I can also capture the unique residential houses and unit blocks, as well as the yachts, boat yards and local vegetation. With all these things, it gives this image so much historical character and a natural feel unlike anywhere else. I feel more like a local rather than a tourist when I'm looking out towards Port Jackson.
